Steven M. Martini, CPA/Partner

Steven M. Martini brings clients a broad scope of business experience, as well as the client's perspective, having served as President/CFO of a publicly traded company he helped start. As a CPA, Steve's forte is business consulting and management advisory services. He has practiced public accounting since 1979, and was licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in December 1981. He earned his BS in Accounting in 1979 from Arizona State University, and his Masters of Science-Taxation in 1987 from Golden State University. For his continuing education, Steve focuses on courses in taxation, financial, business and retirement planning. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Don P. Iosue, CPA/Partner

Don Iosue serves as the managing partner of Martini, Iosue & Akpovi, where he is responsible for maintaining quality control standards. While his business background includes a wide range of industries, his most valuable skills include financial accounting, audits, reviews and compilations. Don began practicing public accounting in 1981, after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Accounting from California State University Northridge. He became a licensed CPA in 1983. For his continuing education, Don concentrates on specialized courses in accounting and auditing. His professional associations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mary O. Akpovi, Ph.D. CPA/Partner

Mary O. Akpovi has worked in public accounting since 1976 and became a certified public accountant in 1978. Highly educated, Mary earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Taxation from U.S.C. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Santa Clara and holds a certificate in Financial Planning from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is exceptionally proficient and has vast experience in handling complex business, financial and tax planning matters for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts, both domestic, multi state and international. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

George J. Diem, Jr.,CPA/Partner

George J. Diem, Jr. became a CPA in 2000 and serves as an audit partner with the Firm specializing in assurance, financial due diligence and advisory services to a broad range of clients in many industries. After earning a dual BS degree in Accountancy and Management Information Systems from California State University, Northridge in 1996, George began his career in public accounting at a Big 4 international CPA firm serving some of the region's biggest clients and some of its most entrepreneurial. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, George also served as a finance director for a large independent film production company and an audit manager for a national CPA firm. George is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Taxation program at the University of Southern California with an expected graduation date of June 2010. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
